Product Overview
Chlorosulphonated polyethylene Rubber (CSM) is resistant to chromic, nitric, sulfuric and phosphoric acids and alkalis like chlorine dioxide, and hydrogen peroxide. CSM is often used in products which are in contact with sulfuric acid or nitric acid due to its excellent acid resistance. It's resistance to acids and alkalis make it a great choice for chemical processing applications.
 
Chlorosulphonated polyethylene rubber also provides good fire resistance and is considered to be self-extinguishing. Its abrasion resistant properties combined with its fire resistance make CSM an excellent polymer for applications in mining operations.

1. CSM-20 has a good application in coatings for soft materials and adhesive products, among which the best application is rubber paste;

2. CSM-30 is mainly used in coatings for hard rubber compounds due to its weather resistance, aging resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and solvent resistance, as well as anti-corrosion coatings for the inner and outer walls of factories and equipment under acid and alkali conditions;

3. CSM-30 can also be used for medical gloves, electrical insulation gloves, etc.;

         Chlorosulfonated polyethylene rubber (CSM) is a synthetic rubber that contains polymers and chlorosulfonating agents. Due to its excellent heat resistance, corrosion resistance, oil resistance, ozone resistance and UV resistance, it is widely used in many fields such as automobiles, construction, and chemicals.
The main parameters of CSM include density (1.1-1.2g/cm³), hardness (50-90 Shore A), tensile strength (8-20MPa), and elongation (300%-600%).
The main advantages of CSM include heat resistance, corrosion resistance, oil resistance, ozone resistance, and UV resistance, making it an ideal material for high temperature, chemical corrosion, oil, and UV environments.
However, CSM also has the disadvantage of high cost, and its performance will decrease at low temperatures, making it unsuitable for extremely cold environments.
