Product Description

Product Description
a-C 316/316A Honeywell Ope Wax for Accelerates Plastification and Printing Inks
OPE Wax (Oxidised Polyethylene Wax) is an oxidised, modified polyethylene wax product which, whilst retaining the excellent lubricity, heat resistance and stability of polyethylene wax, incorporates a certain amount of polar groups to provide improved polar compatibility, dispersibility and lubrication balance.
Our OPE Wax offers excellent internal and external lubrication properties, good dispersion capabilities for pigments and fillers, stable processing performance and good resin compatibility. We can provide appropriate grades to meet the production requirements of various PVC, colour masterbatches, filler masterbatches and plastic modification applications. Through consistent quality control, we help customers improve melt flow, demoulding, dispersion and surface gloss during the processing stage, thereby enhancing production stability and the quality of finished products.
As a specialist supplier of chemical raw materials, we can provide OPE Wax in various performance grades tailored to customers' specific production processes, resin systems and application requirements. We also provide technical documentation such as TDS, MSDS and COA, ensuring a stable supply of products and offering professional support with material selection.

Plastics Modification Industry
Rubber & Plastic Materials and Composites
Our OPE Wax can be used in the production of colour masterbatches and filler masterbatches, where it acts as a lubricant, dispersant and flow improver during processing. In colour masterbatches, it helps to disperse pigments more evenly within the resin matrix; in filler masterbatches, it aids the uniform dispersion of inorganic fillers such as calcium carbonate and talc, whilst improving the processing flow and production stability of highly filled systems.
OPE wax can be used as a processing lubricant and dispersing aid, helping to improve the processing behaviour of fillers, pigments and resins.
Main applications:
PE modification
PP modification
ABS modification
Composite materials
Highly filled plastics
Depending on the specific formulation, OPE WAX can be used to improve lubrication, dispersion and demoulding properties during processing.
Main applications:
Rubber-plastic composites
Plastic composites
Certain elastomer processing systems
Hot Topics Q&A
1. Does a higher addition of OPE Wax result in better lubrication?
No. The addition of OPE Wax must be kept within an appropriate range. Too little may fail to achieve the expected lubrication and dispersion effects; too much may affect the resin's melting behaviour, surface properties or subsequent processing. Please contact us for assistance with formulation adjustments.
2. Is OPE Wax suitable for injection moulding or extrusion?
It can be used in both processes, but the specific results depend on the material system and product requirements.
For products such as PVC pipes, profiles and sheets, OPE Wax is commonly used in extrusion; for certain thermoplastics, it can also be used for lubrication and as a release aid in injection moulding systems.
3. How do I select the appropriate OPE Wax grade?
The selection depends on a variety of factors. We can recommend suitable OPE Wax grades based on your resin type, formulation, production process and intended application, and provide relevant documentation such as TDS, MSDS and COA.
