Products manufactured with conventional adhesives exhibit paraffin film rupture under dynamic stress conditions, thereby compromising their protective efficacy. NDBC antioxidant demonstrates multifunctional protection capabilities for elastomers including chloroprene rubber (CR), chlorosulfonated polyethylene (CSM), epichlo rohydrin rubber (CO/ECO), and ethylene-propylene-diene monomer (EPDM).

Uses

1.Plastics and Rubber Industry: Core Anti-aging Solutions
a.General-purpose Plastics (PE/PP/PVC, etc.)
Applied in films (agricultural greenhouse films, food packaging films), pipes (PP-R water pipes, PE gas pipes), and injection-molded products (transfer cases, toys). During the melt processing (extrusion/injection molding) of plastics, it inhibits free radical generation at high temperatures to prevent material yellowing and embrittlement. In long-term use, it resists oxygen and thermo-oxidative aging, extending the service life of products (e.g., adding 0.1%-0.3% to PP pipes can prolong thermal-oxidative aging time by over 50%).

Often blended with phosphite antioxidants (e.g., A0-168) to form a "primary antioxidant + auxiliary antioxidant" system. For example, adding 0.2% A0-1010 + 0.1% A0-168 to PE cable materials significantly enhances weather resistance and electrical insulation.

b.Engineering Plastics (PA/PBT/PC, etc.)
Ensures high-temperature processing stability: During the spinning of PA66, adding 0.2%-0.5% A0-1010 inhibits melt fracture and improves fiber strength; for PBT injection molding, it prevents degradation at high temperatures (250-280°C) to maintain mechanical properties.

For weather resistance modification: In PC optical lenses, A0-1010 combined with UV absorbers (e.g., UV-531) prevents yellowing and cracking under long-term light exposure, meeting optical transparency requirements.

c.Synthetic Rubbers (NR/SBR/EPDM, etc.)
In tire and seal applications: Adding 0.5%-1% A0-1010 to styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) tire tread rubber inhibits aging caused by ozone and dynamic fatigue, improving wear resistance; in EPDM seals, the antioxidant works synergistically with amine antiozonants (e.g., 4010NA) to enhance weather resistance and resistance to compression set.
 

2.Coatings and Adhesives: Long-term Protection for Protective Coatings
a.Industrial Coatings (Anticorrosive Paints, Automotive Paints)
Enhances weather resistance: Adding 0.5%-1% A0-1010 to acrylic polyurethane coatings inhibits oxidative crosslinking of the film under UV and humid heat, preventing chalking and loss of gloss; in marine anticorrosive paints, it is compounded with HALS (hindered amine light stabilizers) to form a dual protection system against oxidation and photo-aging.

High-temperature coatings: Adding A0-1010 to silicone-modified resin coatings enables resistance to high-temperature oxidation (200-300°C), suitable for anti-corrosion of exhaust pipes and boiler exteriors.

b.Adhesives and Sealants
Hot-melt adhesives (EVA-based, PA-based): During hot-melt adhesive preparation, A0-1010 (0.1%-0.3%) prevents oxidative crosslinking at high temperatures (180-220°C), maintaining the flexibility and bonding strength of the adhesive layer, commonly used in packaging adhesives and book binding adhesives.
Rubber-based adhesives: Adding A0-1010 to chloroprene rubber adhesives improves storage stability, avoiding thickening of the adhesive liquid and decline in curing performance after long-term storage.
 

 

3.Fibers and Textiles: Key Additives for Functional Modification
a.Synthetic Fibers (PET/PA/PP Fibers)
Spinning antioxidation: When spinning PET polyester fibers, A0-1010 (0.05%-0.2% addition) inhibits melt oxidation through blending modification, reducing spinning (yarn breakage rate) and improving the wash and sunlight resistance of fibers (e.g., PP fibers for outdoor sunshade nets).

Functional textiles: In antibacterial and odor-resistant fibers, A0-1010 is combined with nano-zinc oxide to both resist oxidation and enhance the stability of antibacterial agents, applied in sportswear and medical bandages.

b.Chemical Fiber Color Masterbatches
Pigment protection: Adding A0-1010 to black masterbatches prevents carbon black from catalyzing resin oxidation at high temperatures, avoiding melt fracture during injection molding of the masterbatch and ensuring uniform color of products.

4.Lubricants and Resins: Stability Control for Industrial Media
a.Lubricating Oils and Fuel Oils
Antioxidant additives: Adding A0-1010 (500-1000ppm) to turbine oils inhibits high-temperature oxidation and extends the oil change cycle; adding it to die sel fuel prevents gum formation during storage, maintaining oil fluidity.

Synthetic lubricants: In polyalpha-olefin (PAO) synthetic lubricants, A0-1010 is compounded with thioether antioxidants to enhance high-temperature oxidation resistance, suitable for aerospace and precision machinery lubrication.

b.Thermoplastic Resins and Elastomers
SBS/SIS hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesives: In styrene-based elastomers, A0-1010 (0.2%-0.5%) inhibits oxidative degradation of double bonds during repeated heating and melting, maintaining the initial and holding adhesion of adhesives, used in label adhesives and medical tapes.
