Definition and Chemical Properties
PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is a linear polymer produced by free radical polymerization of vinyl chloride monomer. Its molecular chain contains short meso-homotetrameric structures, which give the material unique rigidity and chemical stability. According to the different content of plasticizers, PVC can be divided into three categories: rigid PVC (plasticizer ≤ 10%) is mainly used for structural components such as construction pipes; soft PVC (plasticizer > 40%) is known for its flexibility and is suitable for cable sheathing and inflatable products; semi-rigid PVC (plasticizer 10%-40%) has a balance of rigidity and toughness, and is commonly used in decorative materials and industrial labeling.Product name | Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride |

1. Globalized spare parts supply network
Relying on the core characteristics of PVC material, such as corrosion resistance and aging resistance (with a service life of more than 50 years4), FTDC can set up a global warehousing system to provide more than 10 years of spare parts supply for products such as pipes and cable jackets. For example, PVC pipe joints and other wearing parts can be realized within 72 hours of localized delivery, reducing the risk of customer downtime.
2. Technical response and customized services
Using the flexibility of PVC processing (supporting 12 kinds of processes such as extrusion/injection/blow molding35 ), the after-sales team can provide formula adjustment services: according to the climate characteristics of the customer's region (such as high humidity in the tropics or low temperature in the frigid zone), we can adjust the formula according to the customer's location. or low temperature in the cold zone), adjust the proportion of plasticizers for pipes or the thickness of wear-resistant layer for flooring (0.1-0.5mm precision regulation7) to achieve dynamic optimization of product performance.
3. Environmental compliance support system
For EU REACH and other regulations, based on food-grade PVC certification (FDA 21 CFR 177.260015) and heavy metal-free stabilizer technology 46, we provide a full set of test reports and certification renewal services. For example, we assist customers to pass SGS testing to ensure that the heavy metal precipitation of the drainage pipe is less than 0.01mg/L.
4. Installation and Maintenance Efficiency Improvement Program
Combining the light weight of PVC (density 1.38g/cm³) with the ease of construction (connection speed is 3 times faster than metal pipes46), we provide multi-language VR installation tutorials and intelligent diagnostic tools. By scanning the QR code on the surface of the pipe, customers can access real-time pressure test data and maintenance reminders.
5. Value-added services for circular economy
Relying on PVC's 80% physical recycling rate1, we have established cross-border recycling channels. For example, end-of-life flooring is recovered from the European market and recycled into municipal manhole covers (with a compressive strength of 50 MPa3) in Chinese factories, creating carbon credit revenue for customers. This model has enabled a German customer to reduce annual costs by 12%.
