Product Description

Product Overview

High density Oxidized PolythEylene wax(OPE)is a high temperature lubricant,Macro molecule oxy polymer and contains a amount of hydroxyl and carboxyl which make it improve compatibility with PVC.It is a functional processing aids with excellent performance compatibility and promote fusion as well as metal release.

Advantage

1.Increase fusion while reducing torque
2.Improve toughness and gloss on the surface
3.Good compatibility with filler, pigment and PVC resin compare with PE wax
4.Excellent dispersity and with role of coupling agent between filler and PVC resin

5.Reduces polymer melt viscosity, improving processing fluidity (injection molding, extrusion).
6.Minimizes mechanical wear and extends equipment lifespan.
7.Introduces carboxyl/hydroxyl groups via oxidation, strengthening adhesion to polar materials (e.g., coating substrates).
8.Used for anti-adhesion surfaces in films and packaging materials.
9.Enhances surface gloss and wear resistance in coatings and inks.

Application Guide

I. Plastics Processing
Applications
1.Injection/Extrusion Molding: Processing of PVC, PE, PP, ABS, and other resins.
2.Film/Sheet Production: Packaging films, agricultural films, sheet products.

Roles
1.Lubrication:
Reduces melt viscosity, minimizes equipment friction, and improves flowability.
Internal lubrication: Reduces friction between resin molecular chains.
External lubrication: Prevents melt adhesion to molds.
2.Thermal Stabilization:
Reduces degradation during high-temperature processing and enhances surface finish.
3.Anti-blocking:
Prevents surface adhesion in stacked films.

Usage Recommendations
1.Dosage: 0.1-1.5% (adjust based on resin type and processing temperature).
2.Mixing: Premix directly with resin pellets or use masterbatches.

II. Coatings & Inks
Applications
1.Industrial Coatings: Anti-corrosion metal coatings, wood finishes.
2.Printing Inks: Gravure inks, flexographic inks.

Roles
1.Leveling & Matting:
Adjusts surface tension to minimize brush marks and orange peel effects.
Controls gloss (higher dosages achieve matte finishes).
2.Abrasion Resistance:
Enhances coating hardness and reduces scratches.
3.Pigment Dispersion:
Prevents pigment agglomeration and improves color uniformity.

Usage Recommendations
1.Dosage: 0.5-3% (slightly higher in inks than coatings).
2.Processing Temperature: Ensure complete melting and dispersion (>100°C recommended).
